Poppy Paper Flower Craft - The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. Create a paper poppy as part of a special Museum Memorial Day display.

Operation Safe Passage - An exciting role-playing experience where players train in squads and then work together to respond to a simulated humanitarian mission.

Hands-On History - Explore equipment and uniforms like American Soldiers used in different eras of Army history.

"Sunken Roads: Three Generations After D-Day" - This documentary by filmmaker Charlotte Juergens follows a group of World War II veterans who return to Normandy for the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Scheduled showings throughout the day and sessions to discuss the documentary with the filmmakers.

Memorial Day Remembrance and Moment of Silence - A call to remember their lives, their courage, their legacy and their service. Join Museum staff, volunteers and other visitors for the playing of taps and a moment of silence.

National Moment of Silence - Americans are asked to pause for one minute to honor and respect those who died for our freedom.
